A family owned business, born in 1878, we have a passion for food and the desire to provide our customers with the best possible service. We are one of the best known foodservice companies in the north of England and southern Scotland.
We provide an unrivalled delivery service of over 4,000 products from fresh meat and fish, frozen foods and groceries to cleaning products and tableware.
Our depots in Carlisle, Harrington and Gateshead provide a first-class service to all our customers, large and small.
While our foodstore at Rosehill, store at Fisher Street, Carlisle and our community store at Harrington provide a wide range of fresh products prepared and served by our highly-skilled teams.
Real Living Wage accreditation
We are proud to have gained accreditation as a Living Wage Employer. Our commitment to paying a fair wage for a day’s work sees our minimum hourly rate stand at £10.90. This is above the National Minimum Wage and Real Living Wage rate and significantly higher than the government minimum for over 23s which currently stands at £10.42 per hour.
